Aluminum Windows

Precision-engineered thermally broken aluminum windows for residential and commercial projects — slim sightlines, large glazing capacity, and verified performance.

Overview

Aluminum Windows That Perform as Well as They Look

Aluminum has long been the material of choice for architects and designers seeking maximum glazed area with the narrowest possible frame. When combined with a proper thermal break, aluminum delivers the structural rigidity and sightline slimness that modern architecture demands — without the thermal bridging of older unbroken profiles.

Our aluminum windows are based on the SMARTIA S67 system from Alumil — a 67mm thermally broken aluminum profile designed for demanding residential and commercial applications. The S67 accommodates glazing up to 58mm thick, making it compatible with high-performance triple-glazed units as well as a wide range of specialty glass types.

Polyamide thermal break inserts within the S67 profile separate the interior and exterior aluminum faces, reducing conductive heat transfer and lowering the risk of interior surface condensation. Actual condensation performance depends on indoor humidity, exterior temperature, glazing selection, framing, and installation conditions. Three-level EPDM gasket sealing provides reliable weatherproofing, with the system achieving Class 4 air permeability and watertightness classifications of E900 and E1200 under EN testing standards.

For projects with security requirements, the S67 supports RC2 burglary resistance classification (EN 1627) in appropriate hardware and glazing configurations — a meaningful specification point for ground-floor and accessible windows in residential and commercial buildings.

Key Specification Data (S67)

  • Frame depth: 67mm / Sash depth: 75mm
  • Max glazing thickness: 58mm
  • Max sash weight: 180kg
  • Air: Class 4 (EN 12207)
  • Water: E900 / E1200 (EN 12208)
  • Wind: C4 / B4 (EN 12210)
  • Security: RC2 option (EN 1627)

What Makes the Difference

Features of Our Aluminum Windows

📏

Slim Sightlines

The 67mm frame depth and structural efficiency of aluminum deliver slender sight lines that maximize your glazed area and allow more natural light into the space.

🔲

Large Glazing Capacity

Up to 58mm glazing accommodation supports double and triple insulated glazing units with Low-E coatings, acoustic interlayers, or solar-control treatments.

🌡️

Thermal Break Technology

Polyamide thermal break inserts within the aluminum profile reduce thermal bridging, improving thermal performance and reducing the risk of frame condensation.

💧

3-Level Sealing System

Three levels of EPDM gasket sealing — at the frame, sash, and glass rebate — work together to resist air infiltration and water penetration across a range of weather conditions.

🔒

Security Options

RC2 burglary resistance (EN 1627) is achievable in appropriate S67 hardware and glazing configurations — suitable for ground-floor and accessible window positions.

🎨

Finish Options

RAL powder coat in virtually any color, anodized aluminum for a refined metallic surface, and wood-effect laminate foils for warmth without timber maintenance.

Available Types

Configuration Options

The S67 system covers the full range of casement and fixed window types within a single profile family, enabling consistent aesthetics across mixed-configuration projects.

Fixed Glazing

Non-opening fixed panels for maximum unobstructed glazed area within the same profile family as opening windows.

🪟

Single Casement

Side-hung single sash, inward or outward opening, for reliable ventilation in standard-sized openings.

🪟

Double Casement

Two-sash configuration for wider openings, typically meeting at a central mullion or with a removable option.

↕️

Tilt-and-Turn

Inward-opening dual-function sash: tilt for restricted ventilation and easy interior cleaning, turn for full casement opening.

🔲

Concealed Sash

Hidden-frame sash profile presenting a clean, nearly frameless appearance when the window is closed.

📐

Combination Assemblies

Fixed and opening sashes combined into multi-unit assemblies for large-format window walls and façade applications.

Where They Excel

Best Applications

Modern Residences

Slim-framed aluminum windows are the defining feature of contemporary residential architecture — providing clean lines, large glazed surfaces, and a connection to the landscape.

Commercial Façades

From office buildings to hospitality projects, aluminum windows offer the durability, finish quality, and dimensional stability that commercial specifications require.

High-Performance Buildings

Projects targeting specific air, water, wind, and security classifications benefit from the S67's verified EN performance data and the ability to match glazing selection to project objectives.
